A SPANISH-IRISH folk group have been announced as a last minute edition to this year's Towersey Festival.
Organisers revealed that Track Dogs will join the 2019 event alongside Newton Faulkner, Fisherman's Friends and The Selecter.
Based in Madrid but hailing from Ireland, the US and UK, Track Dogs are described as 'a veritable 4x4 of voices and instruments identified by the fusion of styles which include folk, latino, Americana, bluegrass and pop'.
Also performing at this year's festival at Thame Showground are Seth Lakeman, the Unthanks, Oysterband and Hot House Flowers.
Running from August 23 - 26, the folky festival is now in its 54th year.
Adult day tickets are on sale now at £45 and weekend 'canvas camping' tickets cost £165.
The event also features arts and crafts, talks and a wide variety of food stands.
