A FORMER village pub could be turned into a care home.
Plans have been submitted to redevelop The Bell Inn in Standlake, near Witney, which was severely damaged by a fire in 2015.
This destroyed some of the roof and caused the main ceiling to collapse, with the high repair costs meaning reopening the business was not financially viable.

Standlake currently has one operating pub, The Black Horse.
