FASCINATED flushers are being given another chance to look around their local sewage works.

Tours of Thames Water’s facility in Basil Hill Road, Didcot, will be available on Sunday June 2.

Deena McKinney, Thames Water’s education executive, said: “Previous open days have been extremely popular and the feedback has been really positive so its great to know people have a genuine interest in what we do.

"Visitors are amazed to see just how big an impact the things they pour and flush away have on our equipment and the environment.”
