Gina Pearce, a parish councillor who chairs the village hall committee, said four fire extinguishers were set off in the main hall and a large rock was thrown through the window of the gym, with other windows and doors also damaged.
She added that it has been boarded up and volunteers from various community groups helped to clean up the mess, and the hall and gym are now back in use thanks to their efforts.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for further details.
