PROTESTERS are planning a march through Oxford in support of the NHS.
The Oxford March for the NHS will see hundreds gather in Manzil Way off Cowley Road ahead of the rally to highlight ‘understaffing’ and the ‘privatisation’.
Last year crowds of people, both hospital staff and NHS supporters
marched from Cowley Road through the city centre before holding a rally in Broad Street.
The campaigners called for an end to cancelled operations, long waiting times a slide towards privatisation in putting 'profits before patients'.
This year's protest will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 11am.
