AN ACCLAIMED painter will donate 85 per cent of proceeds from his Oxfordshire Artweeks exhibition to a Witney-based charity.

Raymond Martinez, who has worked in Italy and exhibited at the Lefebvre Gallery in London, will display some of his works at Warwick Hall in Burford on May 25 and 26.

The majority of the sales will go to Cecily's Fund, which has helped educate more than 20,000 orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia over the last 20 years.

The 2019 artweeks festival started on Saturday and runs until May 27.
