A LORRY and car crashed on the A44 in Wolvercote, causing a lane closure.
Part of the southbound dual carriageway was closed just north of the Pear Tree Interchange during evening rush hour today, affecting traffic travelling towards the A34.
Police were sent to the scene and traffic was still slow as of 6pm.

The lane is closed between the A4260 (Loop Farm roundabout) to the A34, but has since reopened and delays have now cleared.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the collision.
