THERE are few seasonal scenes more inspiring in Oxfordshire than the carpet of bluebells which appears each year at this spot, known to generations of locals simply as 'bluebell wood'.

The site is actually Badbury Clump, just outside of Faringdon.

Owned and managed by the National Trust, the hill where these bluebells spring up is actually the remains of an Iron Age hill fort from about 600BC.

But we'd love to know your favourite spots for the beautiful spring sight.

With families across Oxfordshire set to head out on a bank holiday stroll, send us your recommendations and we'll out together our 'top 5' locations.

Bluebell season is short, so catch them while you can - using the button below (or leave us a comment), tell us where are the best spots and what you love about them.
