OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

KUJTIM KODRA, 51, of White Road, Oxford, was convicted of being the driver of a carriage in St Giles, Oxford, who plied for hire when the carriage was not licensed as a public hackney carriage on May 25. Conditionally discharged for nine months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £400.

MARK JUSTIN BRAIN, 49, of Talbot Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in The Fairway, Banbury, on January 19. Had 42mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £350, must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £250. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JOSEPH MARTIN ROBINSON, 37, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a windscreen wiper belonging to a woman in Oxford on September 13. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay compensation of £100.

EDWARD BILLETT WILKINSON POTTER, 36, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man causing him actual bodily harm in Oxford on February 15. Also admitted assaulting a woman by beating her and stealing footwear worth £120 from a woman in Oxford on February 15. A community order was made and he must attend a building better relationships programme for 25 days. Must pay £150 compensation, £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

JAMES CHARLES JAGGARD, 32, of Marjoram Way, Didcot, admitted breaching a restraining order by sending numerous text messages to a woman while prohibiting from doing so. Fined £534, must pay a victim surcharge of £53 and court costs of £85.

WESLEY JOHN JACOB, 41, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Rymers Lane, Oxford, on January 1 and stealing goods worth £800 from TK Maxx in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on December 13. Must pay a victim surcharge of £30, court costs of £85 and was fined £100.

JACK STOREY, 22, of Foxwood Close, Banbury, admitted sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character in Banbury on December 8. A community order was made and he must attend a building better relationships programme for 15 days. A restraining order was put in place and he must not contact a woman until October 4, 2020. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

KAY GIBBONS, 59, of Hedgemead Avenue, Abingdon, was convicted of driving a mechanically propelled vehicle without due care and attention in the A4144, Abingdon Road, Oxford, on September 1. Fined £234, must pay a victim surcharge of £30, court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

PETER DURHAM AND DAUGHTERS LTD, of Orchard Road, Oxford, admitted failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between October 23 and November 20. Fined £500, must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.

NARINDER KUMAR SAINI, 51, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 52mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 at Bicester, on August 1. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

GEORGETTE CAPEL, 63, of Bayworth Park, Bayworth, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between October 16 and November 13. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

GABRIEL CHAMBERLAIN, 45, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted entering Oxford city centre - namely High Street - without reasonable excuse on April 6 and 20 after he was banned from doing so by a Criminal Behaviour Order. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge. £150 to be taken from benefits.

HANNAH CLARK, 42, of Colwell Road, Berinsfield, admitted criminally damaging Andrew Dunsmoore's Mitsubishi Shogun to the value of £1,067 in Wallingford on January 10. Given a conditional discharge for 18 months and ordered to pay £1,067 compensation, which is to be recovered from Clark's benefit payments.

KEIR MCDOWELL, 20, of Corn Street, Witney, admitted receiving stolen goods, namely perfume, games console items, personal notes, sunglasses, a bag and a make-up bag belonging to Lucas Garcia, in Didcot on April 19. Also admitted receiving stolen electronics, games console items and a make-up bag belonging to Joan Bloye in Didcot on April 19. Given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

CHRISTOPHER ORWA, 40, of Moorfield Court, Banbury, admitted illegally storing tobacco products in March 2018. Ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work, pay £1,000 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

MARK KERRY, 52, of Elm Drive, Garsington, admitted assaulting Gary Pinches by beating him in Oxford on October 26. Fined £140 and ordered to pay £150 compensation and £85 court costs.

JARNA SOUBIESKI, 23, of Mayfield Avenue, Grove, admitted drink-driving on Colwell Drive in in Abingdon on November 15. Had 85mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

LEIGH CLARKE, 27, of Moorland Road, Witney, admitted stealing two packs of hamburgers, three packs of Sizzle Steaks and three packs of braising steaks, worth a total of £28.50, from the Co-op on Old Marston Road on April 4. Also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour at St Aldate's, Oxford, on April 4. Fined £270 and ordered to pay £14.25 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

AARON FRENCH, 28, of Spring Meadow, Witney, admitted obstructing or resisting a police officer, PC Victoria Channon, in the execution of her duty at Spring Meadow in Witney on April 7. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

TOM GOODENOUGH, 26, of Norman Way, Wallingford, admitted possessing 3.08 grams of cocaine (Class A), 1.94 grams of Ketamine (Class B) and 0.7 grams of cannabis (Class C) on Haydon Road, Didcot, on May 29. Fined £322 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

KOLAWOLE OKEDELE, 42, of Cranley Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Iffley Road, Oxford, on April 7. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
