A SPADE was used by thieves to smash their way into a house in south Oxfordshire.
The burglary took place in Penny Piece, Goring, sometime between 4pm on Friday and 1.24pm on Sunday.

Thieves used a spade to break the kitchen window before ransacking the house and stealing cash and jewellery.
It comes after police warned this month elderly people's homes were being targeted in the village.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
