A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after two HGVs crashed on the M40 this morning.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries following the collision on the southbound carriageway, just after junction 6 at Lewknor, shortly before 8am.
One needed additional treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and the other was treated and discharged at the scene.
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed it received a 999 call at 7.47am and sent two ambulances to the scene.
The incident has caused delays of up to an hour and a half, with traffic at one point backing up to junction 7 at Milton Common, near Thame.
Traffic is still queueing beyond Tetsworth on the M40.
