DRIVERS were being warned to make sure their car insurance was up to date amid a police crackdown yesterday.
Via Twitter Thames Valley Police reported seizing at least two vehicles in and around Oxford early on Good Friday after quick checks revealed they were being driven without insurance.
One motorist was stopped on the A34 southbound near Islip and another in Hollow Way, Oxford.
As well as having their cars seized, each driver received six penalty points on their licence and a £300 fine.
