Oxford Bus Company has been nominated for an award in the industry.
The UK Coach Awards has recognised the bus company as one of the top five UK operators that have improved life for coach drivers and their passengers.
It has been shortlisted for ‘revitalising the Airline and X90’ services in the ‘making coaches a better choice’ category.
X90 and Airline coaches have wi-fi, power sockets, space to store luggage and bikes and luxury seating with extra legroom.

Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company's managing director said: “This nomination reflects the hard work, service and dedication of all our colleagues daily. It is testament to our determination to adapt to changing markets as part of our strategy to deliver first class services to our passengers.
"We have invested in our luxury coach services and introduced innovative ways for passengers to book travel at affordable prices and there is more to come this year.”
The X90 now provides ticketless travel, live vehicle tracking, and demand driven pricing. It also introduced a new online booking platform, reduced prices and adjusted its timetable following extensive market research.
The UK Coach Awards will take place on May 2 at the Viva in Blackpool.
