BT want to move a telephone booth and kit out the insides
A phone box needs to be moved by BT due to diversion works in the area.
Because of this, bosses at BT – which looks after the kiosk on Cornmarket Street – want to replace it with a ‘fresher version’.
The new booth, which will be relocated to further down Cornmarket Street if the plans go ahead, will have a shelf, space to write and a seat.
Planners say the new design is brighter, more visible and 'comfortable'.
