A DEER has been involved in an accident on the A34 this morning, which caused traffic to back up on the motorway for miles.
Lane one on the northbound carriageway was partially blocked due to the accident, which involved a single vehicle before the A44 (Woodstock Road). All lanes have now reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
Highways England confirmed that a 'large injured deer' was involved in the incident, just before Peartree.
