POLICE made two arrests after discovering more than £2,000 in fake gift vouchers.
Officers seized the stash of forged vouchers from inside a car in the city yesterday, during a stop and search.
Two people were arrested following the find on suspicion of fraud.

In a post on Twitter officers said: “Two suspects arrested for fraud today after a positive stop and search and over £2,000 in fake gift vouchers found in their vehicle."

The force did not specify more details about the location of the car or how the suspects came to their attention.
Officers tweeted the photo shortly after 2.30pm, showing police in a residential area with a black car being towed in the background.
Police can use their stop and search powers if they have reasonable grounds to believe someone has been involved in a crime or is in possession of a prohibited item.
