TRUCKS were stopped on the A34 yesterday as part of a police operations to 'minimise threats on one of our highest risk roads.'
Thames Valley Police Roads Policing team said 26 vehicles, mostly trucks, were examined on the road from Abingdon to Winchester as part of its Operation Trunk.

A total of 92 offences were identified.
Throughout the day, the team's Twitter account posted various updates showing stopped trucks.
Vehicles were stopped for having marking or labelling issues or for not taking sufficient rests.
