OXFORD'S newest oldest pub is fully up and running.
A complex renovation of the Plough in Cornmarket has been completed and both its bar and restaurant are welcoming guests for the first time in nearly a century.
After decades as a suit shop, the 350-year old building, which was an inn until 1924, has been returned to its former use - thought to be the first time this has happened in Oxford.

Downstairs is dedicated to drinks and coffee while casual dining and parties will take place upstairs.
The renovation has seen a grand wooden staircase refurbished, and kitchen and toilets installed.
A seasonal menu prepared by former Fat Duck chef Jan Hvizdos is being served from 12pm until 2.45pm and again from 6pm until 9.30pm.

A partnership with Buckinghamshire-based XT brewery has seen three 1000L tanks, named Tom, Dick and Harry, installed behind the bar, allowing beer to ferment on site before it can be piped direct to the bar.
A partnership with local colleges will help train students.
