A 26-YEAR-OLD Bicester man has been arrested after a red-light jumping car was driven the wrong way around a roundabout and down the wrong side of an Oxford dual carriageway.
Officers say they chased a black Volkswagen Golf after attempting to stop and search the driver as the car left the A34 in Kidlington, travelling south.
But they say the driver failed to stop and drove at high speed towards Oxford, at around 11.15pm on Tuesday, March 12, before being driven down the wrong side of the A40 northern bypass.
They added that a police chase happened along the Oxford Road towards the Cutteslow Roundabout and along the A40 Northern Bypass.
