HARWELL-BASED synthetic diamond company Element Six has welcomed the Government’s £81m investment in a national Extreme Photonics Application Centre in Oxfordshire.

The centre at Harwell campus will help researchers and industry better understand the composition of new materials.
Neill Hunt, executive director of innovation at Element Six, said: “It’s fantastic to see a commitment from the UK Government to invest in science and technology, particularly within Oxfordshire. It’s really positive to see further investment being made to support research.”
