JURORS are now deliberating in the case of an alleged 'county lines' drug dealer arrested at an Oxford guest house.

Leon Wyatt, of Holyhead Road, Coventry, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs crack cocaine and heroin, and a further count of possessing criminal property.

Prosecutors at the start of his trial at Oxford Crown Court on Monday alleged that the 19-year old came to Oxford from the West Midlands in September, together with another man, to ply drugs from the Summertown area of the city.

Jurors were told that he was caught with a haul of drugs at the Lonsdale Guest House, Banbury Road, while Wyatt claims he had nothing to do with any drug dealing operation.

After hearing closing arguments from prosecutors and defence teams jurors were sent out to deliberate by presiding Judge Nigel Daly yesterday afternoon.

Wyatt denies both counts and the trial continues.
