A WOMAN had to be cut free from the wreckage of a crash which involved three vehicles in South Oxfordshire.
Firefighters were scrambled from Wantage and Didcot to help when the crash happened in the A417 just outside Ardington. It happened on Friday, about 5pm.
Crews found the woman passenger trapped in a vehicle that had been hit from the back by a van, and were forced to cut her free.

She was later taken to hospital.
Incident commander crew manager Stuart McDowall from Wantage Fire Station said: “We would like to remind all drivers to be aware of their stopping distances and as a minimum always leave a two second gap between you and the vehicle in front, and double that to at least four seconds in inclement weather."
