A THREE-legged alligator visited primary school pupils as part of an exciting array of events for British Science Week.
Stumpy, who lost a leg as a baby in an incident with a sibling, joined Mike the baby crocodile as special guests at Eynsham Community Primary School on Monday.
The reptiles were accompanied by Colin Stevenson, from Brize Norton-based from Crocodiles of the World, who gave a talk, answered questions and allowed children to meet the animals.
The school is using the week to get children excited about science and engineering, with manufacturing giant Siemens presenting their liquid nitrogen and magnets demonstration to pupils.

Meanwhile, two companies based in the village, Lentus Composites and SST Technology, visited with some of the parts they make for Olympic racing bikes and Formula One cars.
Most year groups have completed workshops with rain forest animals, while others took part in activities involving slime, rocks and sand.
The week has also seen children take part in science competitions, including making crocodile posters.
British Science Week, which started last Friday and ends on Sunday, celebrates science, technology, engineering and maths.
