THE hunt for a dangerous attacker is continuing in Oxford this morning after a woman was stabbed outside a supermarket yesterday.
Police have been continuing the search overnight with an increased presence seen on the streets in Headington following the attack.

As of 7.20am there was no update from the force on the current state of events.

Det Insp Jim Holmes gave a statement outside St Aldates Police Station last night in which he warned members of the public not to approach the attacker, but to call 999 instead.
He has been described as black, of large build with short dark hair and was wearing a bomber jacket and a tracksuit.

The police helicopter was involved in the search yesterday evening with officers cordoning off the area.
It is believed that the attacker was known to the young woman, who was with a child at the time.
She was stabbed at the Co-op in London Road, Headington at around 3.10pm.
Meanwhile the Ambulance service has confirmed the victim was taken to hospital after the attack.
Spokeswoman Michelle Archer said: "I can confirm that we were called at 15:09 yesterday afternoon to London Road, Headington.
"We sent to the scene a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and ambulance officer to assess and treat a female in her 20s.
"She was treated at the scene by our crews and then taken onto hospital."
