A STABBING in Headington has prompted a major police presence and a manhunt for the attacker.
The woman was stabbed by a man outside the Co-operative Food in London Road at 3.10pm, inflicting 'serious injuries.'

Her attacker fled on foot towards the direction of Stile Road, Thames Valley Police said, and anyone who sees anyone matching his description has been urged to call 999.

He is described as black, of large build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a green bomber-style jacket with a tracksuit, and police believe he was known to the victim.
The police helicopter from NPAS Benson has been assisting with the search operation and the Co-op has been cordoned off, while the woman was taken to hospital.

A video sent to the Oxford Mail by a passer-by shows the large number of emergency services and the sound of sirens and a helicopter in the background.
Police and ambulance crews were still on the scene at 5.30pm and the Co-op remained closed to customers.
Witnesses said there appears to be a large pool of blood on the ground in the supermarket's car park and some sort of clothing.
