A SEWAGE treatment works is promising a 'day out with a difference' as it opens its doors to customers.
Thames Water is holding an open day at its site in Basil Hill Road, Didcot, on March 30.
The day will include a tour to show how sewage is transformed into clean river water and released back into the environment.

Deena McKinney said: "The open days are always extremely popular, and visitors are amazed to see just how big an impact the things they pour and flush away have on our equipment and the environment."
