Last week a judge warned of the 'storm' of knife attacks as he jailed a 16-year-old boy for another knife attack.

Thames Valley Police wrote on Twitter that both the man and the boy have now been charged and are in custody awaiting trial.

Using the hashtag #KnivesRuinLives the force explained how the Oxford Central Neighbourhood Police Team, and colleagues, had arrested both the robbers on the same day as the incident.
