URGENT repairs are needed at an 800-year-old Oxfordshire church.
The 13th and 14th century stonework at St Andrew's in Chinnor is crumbling and thousands is needed to shore it up.
Reverend Maggie Thorne has appealed for people to help.
She said: "The church is facing expensive major repair works and we will be relying on grants and donations to achieve our aim of ensuring that the church is well-maintained for the generations to come.”

The church raised £1,868 at its Christmas tree festival and was given £1,000 by developer Bovis Homes but needs more.

Parts of St Andrew’s Church date back to the early 13th century, with the bulk of the nave and tower completed at the end of the century.
The north and south bays at the west end and the chancel are of 14th century origin with some modifications carried out in the 19th century.
