A HORSE was killed by a car on a busy road after being set free by burglars who also broke into a parish council shed.

Marston Parish Council took to Twitter to explain what had happened on Friday night.
It wrote to its roughly 850 followers: "There was a break in at our shed and a neighbours shed on Friday.

"The same people also allowed three horses to escape from a nearby field.
"Sadly one was hurt and killed by a vehicle on the bypass."
