POLICE have identified a man they wanted to speak to after an assault in a nature reserve.
On Wednesday officers issued a photo appeal following an incident in Bicester's Bure Park Nature Reserve, during which a dog walker is said to have grabbed a man's arm before throwing his phone in a river.
The assault happened on Valentine's Day and allegedly happened after the victim, a 34-year-old man, asked the dog owner to recall his dog after it ran towards his family.
Police said the man pictured could have 'vital information.'
In an update released today, Thames Valley Police said: "The man described in this release has now been identified.
"Thank you to the public and media for sharing our appeal."
