A BOOKSHOP is hosting a book launch party on Friday for a local woman who has written her first children's book.
Wallingford Bookshop will be showcasing Alexandra Hammond's new book called Pandemonium in New York.

The 62-year-old from Cholsey, who is now retired, has found time to finally write.
Profits made from the book will go to the Children's Hospital at the John Radcliffe.
The event, which starts at 6:30pm at the bookshop on St Martin's St, is free, and refreshments will be provided.
