OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

PAUL METCALF, 37, of Ducklington Lane, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on January 18 at Ducklington Lane, Witney. Had 44 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £690 and must pay a victim surcharge of £69 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 13 months.

DANNY PARTRIDGE, 19, of Park Road, Faringdon, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence and insurance and above the legal alcohol limit on January 19 at Faringdon. Had 74 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and unpaid work for 80 hours. He must also pay compensation of £350 and he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

GARY SELLWOOD, 31, of Phelps Place, Oxford, admitted stealing £120 of goods from Co-Op, Marston Road on January 9 as well as £520 of goods and £730 of goods from Boots, Oxford Retail Park, on January 13 and 22. He was jailed for a total of 28 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

CHRISTOPHER CARR, 26, of St Hildas Close, Bicester, admitted assaulting a police officer on December 30 at Bicester. He was fined £400 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85.

ROMAINE MCKINTOSH, 32, of Liddell Road, Oxford, admitted stealing beauty products valued at £281.40 from Tesco, Abingdon, on January 7 as well as electrical items valued at £13.50 from Tesco Abingdon on October 11 and a further charge of assaulting a man. He was jailed for 24 weeks suspended for 12 months and made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 10 days. He must also pay compensation of £100.

MIHAI HURMUZ-IRIMIA, 25, of Blue Mountains, Wallingford, was convicted of failing to provide a specimen for analysis on September 29 at Abingdon. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £620 and he was disqualified from driving for three years.

MATTHEW SMITH, 25, of Roman Way, Bicester, was convicted of travelling on a railway between Bicester Village and Oxford Parkway on July 5 without having previously paid a fare. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £4.40, a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £100.

MARTA TAXACS, 45, of Cornish Road, Chipping Norton, was convicted of speeding by driving 50 mph in a 30 mph area at Burford Road, Chipping Norton, on July 5. She was fined £210 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

GEOFFREY BELCHER, 78, of Rochester Place, Charlbury, was convicted of speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford Road, Woodstock, on June 27. Fined £246, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

ALAN PETER COLCHESTER-HALL, 53, of Wardington Road, Edgcote, Banbury, admitted speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in Buckingham Road, Winslow, on June 27. Fined £133, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

AKSHAY DEODHAR, 33, of Aldrich Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in Banbury Road, Oxford, on July 8. Fined £80, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

SARA JAYNE DIXON, 35, of Aster Close, Didcot, was convicted of speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in Withercroft Road, Wallingford, on June 27. Fined £233, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

NICOLA HICKEY, 57, of The Green South, Warborough, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between August 22 and September 19. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

PATRICK MARCHANT, 52, of Mill Lane, Clanfield, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between October 3 and October 31. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

GRAHAM WILLIAM MATTHEWS, 50, of Bradleys, Shipton Under Wychwood, was convicted of speeding at 57mph in a 30mph zone in Burford Road, Chipping Norton, on July 5. Fined £140, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

JAMIE NICHOLAS MCGHIE, 34, of Millais Close, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 45mph in a 30mph zone in A420, Botley Road, Oxford, on June 30. Fined £169, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

AMANDA JANE MILES, 45, of Royal Berkshire Close, Didcot, was convicted of speeding at 44mph in a 30mph zone in Hithercroft Road, Wallingford, on June 27. Fined £130, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

WENDY MITCHELL, 50, of Oakley Lane, Chinnor, was convicted of speeding at 56mph in a 30mph zone in Thame Road, Emmington, on July 12. Fined £424, must pay a victim surcharge of £42 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

EMILY MURPHY, 30, of Woodstock Road, Yarnton, was convicted of speeding at 42mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford Road, Woodstock on June 29. Fined £246, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Four penalty points.

STEVEN JAMES BAMSEY, 31, of St Peters Close, Cassington, admitted drink driving on the A40 at Eynsham. Had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. Fined £384, must pay a victim surcharge of £38 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
