FORMER offices next to a Sikh temple are set to be bulldozed and replaced with a three-storey block of flats.
The owners of the former Sharp & Howse office at 295 London Road, Headington, have submitted their plans to Oxford City Council.
In the scheme, the Sikh temple would be retained, but the two-storey element of the site next door and a single-storey row on adjoining Northfield Road would be demolished.

The applicants want to replace that with a new three-storey building with eight flats – two one-bed, four two-bed and two three-bed.
The Sharp & Howse unit has now been empty for nearly a decade since the company moved out in 2010.
The single-storey part of the building set for demolition is pictured here, around the corner on Northfield Road.
Two years later, Oxford's official Sikh community body, Oxford Sri Guru Singh Sabha, moved into part of the complex where they have been worshipping ever since.

In 2018 the council granted permission for a change of use of the existing ground-floor into two shops, but it is not clear whether the owners still hope to use part of the site for retail.
The new planning application to the city council has been made by Mr Kuldip Singh Turna.
