THE names of 10 Oxfordshire men who gave their lives in the two world wars will be read out in the next Turning the Pages Ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral.
Soldiers from the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars will be read aloud at the service in the Military Chapel from 11am on Saturday, March 2.
Members of family, fellow servicemen, friends and wellwishers are all invited to attend.
As part of this ceremony, a new Book of Remembrance will be handed over to the safe keeping of the Cathedral in which recorded are the names of those fallen since the ending of the Second World War - members of the Royal Green Jackets and the Rifles.
The Turning the Pages ceremony has been held at the cathedral by former servicemen for years, and seen hundreds remember fallen family and comrades.
