THE case of a manager who works for an organisation funded by Oxfordshire taxpayers was heard at a London court today.

A short pre-trial review hearing was held in the case of Rob Arnold, 49, a manager for the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) at the Inner London Crown Court in South London.

Mr Arnold, of Torside, Wilnecote, Staffordshire, is due to stand trial for two counts of fraud by abuse of position and another for fraud by false representation at Inner London Crown Court on March 11.

That trial is due to last for three weeks. OxLEP said all charges do not relate to his work there.

He started at OxLEP last September. He is currently a programme executive there.
