A BURST water main is causing problems for drivers heading in and out of Oxford.
Temporary traffic lights on Abingdon Road have led to queues building both ways after a pipe four inches in diameter burst near the junction with Lake Street.
Thames Water has apologised for the leak, but said supplies to homes shouldn't be affected.
Oxford Bus Company says it can't stop at Lake Street due to the roadworks.
The queues are lkikely to worsen as rush hour approaches.
it is not known how long it will take to fix. Thames Water said it would complete the work 'as soon as possible'.

Thames water are going to set up temporary traffic lights , they are on route to set up now. We will need to suspend lake street Bus stops in both direction until work is completed. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Thames Water spokesman Michael Benke said: "We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by our work to repair a burst on a four-inch diameter pipe.
"To allow this to be done safely we’ve put in temporary traffic lights and aim to finish as soon as possible.”
