VOLUNTEERS from an Oxford Muslim group will help out with Oxclean's Spring Clean in early March.
Oxford's branch of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association UK(AMYA) is one of countless groups helping out with the clean up, which is now in its 13th year.
The organisation also helped clean city streets on New Year's Day, and it helps out with various similar initiatives nationwide.
Oxford regional youth leader Nasir Adam said: “AMYA continues to instil young people with a sense of civic responsibility and a desire to promote harmony within our community.”
Oxclean's drive to recruit volunteers is now in full swing, ahead of the March 1 - 3 event - which covers all of Oxford within the ring road. To register, visit oxclean.org.uk/spring-clean/
