WANTAGE MP Ed Vaizey has again raised the prospect of a rail station in Grove.
Earlier today, transport minister Andrew Jones agreed to meet the MP and stakeholders to discuss the issue.

In a parliamentary debate, Mr Vaizey said: "(The station) would be part of a network of two or three stations connecting Oxford and Bristol. As more houses are built in the south east and the south west, local connectivity, alongside inter-city connectivity, is vital."
In July 2018, Mr Vaizey said the station was becoming a ‘considerably more positive prospect’, following years of delays. There appears to have been minimal progress since.
