A DANCE troupe featuring an Oxford teenager has been praised for a 'breathtaking' performance on prime time television.

Company Jinks made it through to the next round of BBC talent show The Greatest Dancer after being voted through on Saturday night.

Among the London-based contemporary dance crew is 15-year-old Headington School pupil Rheia Reader, who said it was an 'honour' to perform on the show.

They were one of three acts selected by Glee and Broadway actor Matthew Morrison for the live shows, to compete against acts chosen by fellow 'dance captains' - singer Cheryl and Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse.

Company Jinks used chairs as props for their performance and were showered with compliments by viewers on Twitter, who described their routine as 'stunning' and 'mesmerising'.

Headington School also shared support for Rheia.

The next episode of The Greatest Dancer is scheduled to air on Saturday on BBC1 at 7.35pm.

The talent show challenges dancers of any age and any dance style to compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.
