TWO people were arrested and two children safeguarded after suspected hare coursing near White Horse Hill in Uffington.

Thames Valley Police also seized six dogs during the incident, near Faringdon, yesterday.

Officers have carried out interviews and an investigation is ongoing.

The force tweeted several pictures from the scene, where at least four officers and one police vehicle were in attendance.

Photos show the dogs being taken away in the police vehicle, while a Nissan believed to be belonging to the suspected hare coursers was shown stuck in the deep snow.
