‘A GIANT game of Cluedo’ is coming to Oxford city centre this summer.

An ‘Oxford Detective Day’ is due to take place on Saturday, May 25.

The ‘Sneaky Finders’ game is being billed as a ‘giant detective adventure all across town’ and encourages participants to wear 1920s-inspired fancy dress.

The game unfolds via an event app and the game is ‘self-guided’.

Teams of two to six are invited to solve the mystery, with the average time to solve the case being 140 minutes, according to organisers Clued Upp.

In a description of the mystery, the company said: “It’s 1921 and the bustling industrial town of Millingham, near Oxford, has awoke on a misty morning to find one of its most feared residents has been poisoned. As the smoke lifts the rumours spread across town as to what could have happened and who could be responsible.

“With money, crime and power come enemies from all walks of life, but who would be daring enough to do this?

“Special branch need assistance with solving. As the complicated investigation continues, a list of suspects and witnesses emerge and it’s going to take your specialist skills to help catch the culprit.”
