CASES HEARD IN BANBURY MAGISTRATES' COURT 

LIAM READING, 25, of Sussex Drive, Banbury, admitted assaulting a man occasioning him actual bodily harm at Banbury on April 28. He was fined £300 and must pay compensation of £1,000, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ADAM MARMONT, 22, of Holloway Road, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on September 1 at Witney as well as driving while disqualified and without third party insurance. Had 88mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

GRANT GULLIVER, 27, of Mill Lane, Shenington, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to comply with supervision on December 12 and unpaid work on December 6. He was fined £100 and made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work.

RYAN KENNEDY, 31, of Manor Road, Sandford St Martin, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on July 14 at Sandford St Martin. Had 66mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £350 and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

NUNO VASQUAS, 40, of Morris Close, Chipping Norton, admitted assaulting an emergency worker at the John Radcliffe Hospital on January 4 as well as failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to work as instructed on October 25 and November 12 as well as failing to keep in touch. He was fined £100 for the breach and must pay compensation of £100 for the assault and court costs of £85.

RICHARD POTTON, 27, of Cotswold Close, Sibford Ferris, admitted making a dishonest statement or representation to Cherwell District Council in order to make a gain for housing benefit on June 19, 2017, at Banbury as well as failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which would affect entitlement to Employment Support Allowance between August 15, 2016, and October 19, 2017. He was made subject to a community order to include an electronic curfew for four weeks and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £86.

JOANNA CHECKLEY, 53, of Hanborough Road, Eynsham, admitted drink-driving on Elsfield Way, Oxford, on January 8. Had 124mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 200 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 42 months.

NIKKITA HALL, 20, of Hughes Close, Charlbury, admitted assaulting a man occasioning him actual bodily harm at Charlbury on May 12. She was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £740, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

STUART MIDSON, 36, of Huntingdon Road, Bicester, admitted burgling Whitelands Farm Sports Ground, Bicester, on October 5 and stealing £640. He was made subject to a community to include 60 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

BARRY FOSTER, 39, of Bluebell Way, Carterton, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without third party insurance on June 26 at Carterton. He was fined a total of £225 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

PAUL MCCABE, 44, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, was convicted of permitting the use of premises for the supply of crack cocaine and heroin on April 12 at Jubilee Court, Banbury. He was made subject to a community order to include an electronic curfew for three months. Victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £200.
