PEOPLE are being called on to rate their binmen and street cleaners as part of a council satisfaction survey.
Cherwell District Council has asked residents to rate the waste collection and street cleaning services as a way to help improve its quality.
It is part of a nationwide survey with the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) which the council is a member of.
Cherwell District Council lead member for clean and green Debbie Pickford said: "This year we are 32nd out of 345 in the league table of recycling authorities.
"That’s not bad, but more can be done.
"These surveys are being carried out by APSE members across the country and will help us compare the quality of our service with other councils.
"Firstly it asks which services are most important to people and then asks them to rate how well we are currently performing in those areas.
"The results will also help make sure we are spending Council Tax and our efforts in the areas that residents want to see the most improvement."
More than 250 local authorities are signed up to the APSE as members to work together and share expertise on frontline public services.
