A CAR was seized in the early hours of this morning in Oxford after a driver failed a roadside drugs test, police say.
Thames Valley Police officers in the city say they took the Volkswagen and arrested the driver.
In a tweet, the force explained: "A black VW Golf was stopped by Oxford and Thames Valley roads policing officers in the early hours this morning.
"The driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, no insurance and no licence after failing a roadside drug test. His car was also seized."
Police added: "A male was arrested on suspicion of the mentioned offences after officers were concerned about his driving on Grenoble Road. Roads policing assisted by pulling the vehicle over minutes later. The car was seized for no license and no insurance."
