A man was taken to hospital after falling into the Conwy River.
Llandudno Coastguard were called, along with specialist coastguard mud rescue teams from Rhyl and Bangor, at around 12.15am Saturday morning to reports received by North Wales Police of a person stuck in the mud in Conwy.
Before crews could arrive Police reported the man had been found on Marine Walk near Ysgol Aberconwy.
The man had fallen into the river and been immersed in the water for about 25 minutes before managing to pull himself onto the bank.
He was found by members of the public who raised the alarm.
Police and Llandudno Coastguard members took the man to his home address where they were able to remove his wet clothing and warm him up.
An ambulance was called and the man was taken to hospital for assessment.
