THE consultation into plans to transform a former Cowley petrol station into 38 flats and houses comes to a close this week.
Submitted by site owner Oxford City Council last month, the development would see a four or five storey block containing 35 flats as well as three houses.

While there has been support for efforts to revamp the Between Towns Road land, which used to contain Murco garage, residents on adjoining St Omer Road worry a lack of parking will lead to an influx in cars on their street.

A public meeting was held earlier this month over the concerns.
Comment on the application via oxford.gov.uk by Sunday.
A final decision on the scheme is expected by March 15.
