THE Government's Brexit deal has been resoundingly rejected by MPs.
In a vote in the House of Commons this evening, only 202 voted for the proposed plan with 432 voting against.

The scale of the defeat is unprecedented in British politics but the Prime Minister has refused to tender her resignation.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a motion of no confidence in the Government which will be debated tomorrow.
If this is lost, Theresa May will be forced to resign.
Government ministers have admited that they will now have to go back to the drawing board and seek changes to the proposed withdrawal agreement with the European Union.
This may delay the planned departure of the UK from the EU, set for March 29 this year.
EU leaders have also said the possibility of a so-called 'no deal' Brexit has increased, in light of the dramatic events.
Oxfordshire's MPs have been giving their reaction.
Taking a moment to reflect, 230 is far worse than even my wildest predictions. There is no version of this deal that can pass now surely. This cannot be spun any other way that horrifically for the Government. Time for a #PeoplesVote to break this impasse.

Tonight’s result is a victory for noone. It gets us no further & the deadlock continues. The PM continues to have my full support. We really must come together and work out a way forward as 29 March approaches #Brexit #BrexitDebate #WithdrawalAgreement #BrexitDeal #BrexitDealVote

Prior to the vote Witney MP Robert Courts had said he would vote against the deal while John Howell, MP for Henley, refused to state his intentions.
Their Conservative party colleagues Wantage MP Ed Vaizey and Banbury MP Victoria Prentis had pledged support.
Meanwhile both Oxford MPs - Oxford East's Labour MP Anneliese Dodds, and Oxford West and Abingdon's Liberal Democrat Layla Moran – have been vocal in their opposition to the plans.
