A 'SEVERE' crash closed the main route close to Oxford Airport this morning.
Reports showed the A4260 Banbury Road blocked both ways due to a 'multi-vehicle' crash.
It happened shortly before 7.30am and South Central Ambulance Service said there were four vehicles involved. Everyone involved had minor injuries and one person was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Stagecoach Oxford was said the road is blocked close to Sturdy Castle and police were on the scene.
SERVICE UPDATE: With the section of the route blocked, all surrounding roads are now becoming very busy. Please allow extra time for travel on the S4 route. https://t.co/1YCGpE3gyB pic.twitter.com/YaFMbEZAkT
