AN ELDERLY driver had to be cut free from the wreckage of a crash between a car and lorry.
The man was trapped after the crash happened yesterday in the centre of Thame, in Upper High Street near the junction with Park Street.
Firefighters were forced to remove the doors and the roof of the car to cut free the driver who was then taken to hospital.

The crash happened shortly after 4pm.
Incident Commander Andy Ford, from Thame, said: "This collision shows how even at slow speeds a collision can still cause significant damage to vehicles and result in potentially serious injuries.
"It’s a reminder to always wear a seatbelt even when driving slowly and to be aware of other road users at all times."
Thames Valley Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
