CHIEF Inspector Matthew Bullivant has been appointed the new Local Policing Area Deputy Commander for South and Vale.
He is returning to the South & Vale Police Area having left it to fulfil other policing commitments in 2009.
He joined Thames Valley Police in 1997 as a response officer in Oxford.
Chief Inspector Bullivant said: “I will be doing all I can to support our officers, staff and volunteers to ensure our communities remain a safe place to live and work.
“I plan to build on existing relationships in the local community and form new ones.”
